Itinerary

  • Day 1

    Jhansi to Orchha (approx 20 Kms/45 minutes)

    Upon arrival at Jhansi airport/railway station, SOS Travel house representative would assist with the transfer to Orchha. check-in to the hotel and after Fresh-n-up, Orcha local sightseeing will include the fort complex including The Jehangir Mahal, Ram Raja Temple, Raja Mahal, Rani Mahal, etc. Later drive back towards the Hotel. Overnight stay at a hotel in Orchha.

  • Day 2

    Orchha Sightseeing

    After breakfast, another day of local sightseeing of Orchha will include the Chattris(Cenotaphs), Dauji ki Haveli, Chaturbhuj Temple, Sunder Mahal, Laxminarayan Temple and The Chandrashekhar Azad Memorials. At the River Betwa optional boating/rafting trip is also available. Later back to the Hotel. Overnight stay at a hotel in Orchha.

  • Day 3

    Orcha to Khajuraho ( 175 kms/3 hrs)

    After an early breakfast, we will drive to Khajuraho. Check-in at the Hotel at Khajuraho, Early evening local sightseeing tour will include a visit to the Western group of Temples which are part of the 80 Temples complex of which only 25 are open to visitors. This complex is being maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India, some of the Temples of Khajuraho, we will get to see include Chitragupt Temple, Devi Mandap, Varaha Mandap, Kandariya Mahadev Temple, Lakshman Temple, Vishwanath Temple, etc. Later in the evening, a learning experience will include the Khajuraho Temple Light & Sound Show. Back to hotel for overnight stay in hotel at Khajuraho.

  • Day 4

    Panna National Park Safari and Khajuraho Sightseeing

    An exciting day begins with your morning Safari at Panna National Park. You may get to see not just the Bengal tiger, but a variety of Deer like chinkara and Neel Gai. Keep a look out for Leopards and sloth beer. The jungle is a paradise for bird watchers where they may be able to see Himalayan vultures, Honey Buzzard, woodpeckers, and a host of other species. Return to the hotel and After Breakfast leave for a full-day sightseeing trip of Khajuraho and nearby places including the famous Raneh waterfall, Pandav Fall, and Ken Ghariyal Sanctuary. The rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight stay in Khajuraho in the hotel.

  • Day 5

    Departure from Khajuraho
