Kaziranga National Park spread across the river Brahmaputra is a wildlife national Park located in the northeast Indian state of Assam. It is home to a variety of wildlife including tigers, elephants, and the world’s largest population of Indian one-horned rhinoceroses. Ganga river dolphins are often found swimming in the river. Many rare migratory birds and grey pelicans can be sighted near Kaziranga.
The Beautiful hill station of Shillong is also the state capital of Meghalaya in northeast India.
Shillong boasts of the beautiful gardens at Lady Hydari Park and the famous Wards Lake. Towards the North, is the famous Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Cultures, showcasing the tribes and their distinct cultures and traditions. The famous Waterfall around the hill station of this northeast state is the Elephant Falls. The heavily forested Shillong Peak offers magnificent city views.
Cherrapunji, also known as Sohra, is a high-altitude town in the northeast Indian state of Meghalaya. It is known for its living root bridges, made from rubber trees.
Guwahati is a sprawling city beside the Brahmaputra River in the northeast Indian state of Assam. It’s known for holy sites like the hilltop Kamakhya Temple, featuring shrines to the Hindu deities Shiva and Vishnu. To the east, the 18th-century Navagraha Temple is an astronomical center with planetary shrines. Umananda Temple, dedicated to Shiva and covered with engraving, stands on Peacock Island in the river.

Day 1
Guwahati Airport / Rly Station – Kaziranga National Park (220 kms / 5 hrs.)
On arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station & transfer to Kaziranga National Park, the home of “One Horned Rhinoceros”, visit Maha Mrityunjay Temple. On arrival at Kaziranga Check in at your hotel. The evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kaziranga

Day 2
Kaziranga National Park
Early morning explore any one zone of Kaziranga National Park on the back of Elephant. Apart from the Rhino, other species found are Hog Deer, Swamp Deer, Wild Buffalo, Elephants, and if you are lucky then tigers also. It is also home to pelicans, storks, and darters as there are a number of water bodies inside the Park. Return to the resort for breakfast. In the afternoon enjoy a jeep safari through the National Park, and later visit Kaziranga Orchid Park. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay in a hotel in Kaziranga. Important note: *Elephant rides are all regulated and controlled by the forest Dept. Govt. of Assam. We do not have any control over the booking. *First May onwards, Kaziranga National Park will be closed. So, Elephant rides & Jeep safaris are subject to availability only.

Day 3
Visit Umiam Lake
After breakfast proceed for Shillong (4,900 ft.), which is called ‘Scotland of the East”. En route visit Umiam Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. The evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 4
Excursion to Cherrapunjee (60 kms / 2 -3 hrs one way.)
After an early breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee (4,400 ft.), the wettest place in the world. You will see the beautiful waterfall known as Nohkalikai. You can also explore the caves of Mawsmai. Evening return to Shillong, en route visit Elephanta. Overnight stay at Hotel Shillong.

Day 5
Visit Don Bosco Museum & Ward’s Lake.
After breakfast visit Don Bosco Museum (Sunday Closed) & Ward’s Lake. After that drive to Guwahati. Arrive and check-in at the hotel. In the evening we suggest an optional tour of the Golden Sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra (Direct Payment by own). Overnight stay at a hotel in Guwahati.

Day 6
Hotel – Guwahati Airport / Rly Station
After breakfast visit Kamakhya Temple (Notes -Timing 08:00 A.M till 01:00 P.M & 3:00 P.M till it gets dark). Transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey. Note: Temple visit will depend on your departure time. It May be done on the previous day.
