Kandariya Mahadeva Temple

Kandariya Mahadeva Temple is one of the largest and most elaborate temples focusing on Lord Shiva in the entire Khajuraho area. Measuring between 30-31 m in height the structure directly above is shaped like the spire of Mount Kailash, Lord Shiva’s revered dwelling.
